Plot of Episode 1
My Dream, My Dread episode 1 starts out with a couple rushing their son Micheal to the hospital. The story then shifts pregnant Charlotte Williams and Henry Foster who are rejoicing for the arrival of their baby.
Henry asks his wife to have an emergency c-section given his father's declining health despite not considering that she's in her seventh month of pregnancy, shocking Charlotte.
