God of Evil episode 2 shifts to the modern day when we meet Chuck laying dead while he's mourned by his widowed wife Sherri and daughter Wendy.
Sherri is harassed by Chuck's brother Brook, who demands that she marry him. Wendy asks her uncle not to bully her mother. Brook gives two options for Sherri, either to marry him or to have him strangle her daughter.
