Victoria couldn't take the humiliation Beth was dishing out in Baby, Just Say Yes episode 3. She pushed Beth hard. Paul walked in on them. Instead of an apology to follow suit, he accused Victoria of pushing Beth into the pool. Victoria, having had enough of their nonsense, called off her engagement to Paul. That was when her lifesaver came in.
