Bella Jenkins is a renowned urologist who just got engaged to Shane, the hospital’s director. Unfortunately, she walks into his office and finds him being intimate with a nurse. An appalled Bella tries to seek answers, but a shameless Shane tries to pass his betrayal as a way of getting distressed.
Bella doesn’t waste any time and breaks up with the cheater. Distraught by the recent events, she goes into her office to attend to her next patient. This is where the real surprise takes place.
Her patient is none other than her ex-boyfriend, Adam Shelton. They had an intense relationship during college which ended the moment Bella found him in his dorm with another woman. It goes without saying that seeing Adam at this moment only stirred her unresolved feelings.

Her blind fate in Shane vanishes the moment she finds a woman all over the guy’s torso. And he liked it. Shane unwillingly blurts out that it’s something he often does to distress himself.

What makes any novel popular? A good story, with appealing characters, and interesting plot twists. Good with Her Hands book gathers all the assets of a good narrative.
Bella Jenkins and Adam Shelton are terrific, they have interesting character development. They supposedly know each other from the past, yet they act shy around one another. Throughout the story, there are various moments when Bella and Adam seem to warm up to each other and moments when they act like complete strangers.
Apart from the constant media attention which puts a great deal of pressure on their frail relationship, there’s also Adam’s former girlfriend, who’s determined to win him back. It’s interesting to see Bella’s reaction. She can either back down or fight to win Adam’s heart again.
Adam and Bella’s journey to happiness is emotional. They have their fears, they’re reluctant to begin a new relationship and they lack the idea of trusting one another.
Getting comfortable with one another will take some time, and they’ll have to prove they’ve changed over the years. Above everything, they’ll have to talk and settle what happened the day Bella believed he cheated on her. Is Adam really a betrayer or was everything a misunderstanding?
Part 4: Good with Her Hands Quick Review
Good with her Hands chapters are intense. I loved the tension that builds up around Bella and Adam, and their awkwardness in trying to avoid facing the truth about their feelings.
He’s a superstar, she’s his doctor. Bella and Adam’s relationship is unusual. As an NHL player, Adam is expected to date hot supermodels, and Bella, as a urologist, is expected to date fellow doctors.
One of the things I enjoyed about this story is the fact that the paparazzi didn’t truly take for granted their lie about their relationship. This is why they kept following them everywhere, forcing Adam and Bella to often act like a loving couple.
