In one night, Lacey Carpenter had to deal with two shockers. A young and promising lady from one of the most affluential families in New York, she had the intention of becoming a seasoned teacher and was well on her way to achieving this dream of hers before disaster struck during her engagement party, one that made her flee the country entirely, to start a new life.

Lacey Carpenter and Dylan Tate were engaged to get married, and the engagement party was in full swing when Lacey absent mindedly took a stroll back to her room in the hotel where the function was taking place. When Lacey opened the door of her room, what did she see? She saw her fiancé and soon-to-be husband, Dylan Tate bare naked and having sex with her elder brother, Luca, and as expected, Lacey was shocked to her bones.

The shock of seeing such a crazy turn of events made Lacey enter into the nearest bar to drink away her sorrow, and that was where she made what was considered the mistake of her life but later turned out to be a blessing. She slept with the best friend of another of her elder brothers. His name was Logan Black.

Lacey was drunk when she had sex with Logan, so she didn’t exactly take note of his face before and during the incident, but the following morning when her eyes were clear, she realized that she had slept with her brother’s best friend, and she felt ashamed of herself, hurrying out of the hotel before Logan woke up.

Well, instead of Lacey to tell her parents and the public what she saw, she decided to keep it to herself because she was trying to protect the image of the men she loved, especially her older brother, Luca.

Lacey also found out that she was pregnant after sleeping with Logan Black, and she knew that her family would go crazy and force her to get married to Logan so as not to bring shame to the family name, so she did what she thought was best for her. Runaway.

In the beginning of Coming Home For Christmas Novel, Lacey was at JFK airport, perusing the itinerary of international flights for the day and wondering where she should relocate to. Eventually, and with the help of a staff at the airport, Lacey chose to relocate to London, and her ticket was bought straight away.

Six years after living in London under a new government name, Lacey Wright, a set of glorious triplets were now attached to her, and they were the children of Logan Black. The kids were smart and very much like their father, especially the first one who was named directly after his father.

By now, Lacey had become a writer after almost going broke in London. She was able to not just make ends meet via writing, but also make it a substantial feat for her and her children as she became a world class author.

Lacey Wright had turned her life around, from the shock she received during her engagement party, to a blessing. But that is just where the story starts.

After staying away from her family for what already seemed like forever, Lacey stumbled on news that her brother Luca, had decided to go public with his sexual preference, which was gay, and that he had officially announced Dylan Tate as the love of his life.

Really? I bet Lacey was sick to her stomach and was glad that everyone would eventually find out the truth about what happened on her engagement night, but she shoved that aside as a lot was actually going on in her home front.

Lacey’s writing agent had on that occasion arranged a party for Lacey to celebrate her success as a writer because Lacey, at the end of the day, had achieved so much in the writing world, yet nobody knew her. As a result, her agent acted mischievously.

While Lacey did not even want a party of any sort, her agent forced one on her and fixed the venue to be in New York of all places. New York? What a joke! Anyway, since Lacey did not have to turn up for the party just yet, she allowed her agent to drop the idea in her head and leave, knowing fully that she would not, for any reason, visit New York again, not even for as little as 3 hours.

Going back to New York seemed like something that was so far from reach, until Lacey’s children started to look for their father. Her gravely intelligent children had saved a boy called Elijah from bullies, unknown to them that Elijah was their cousin.

It was the craziest reveal for Lacey when she found out that Elijah, the autistic kid that her children had saved from bullies, was their cousin, and son of Ryker Black, Logan Black’s brother.

Coming Home For Christmas started to look likely with each passing day and with each passing event.

Part 2: Sizzling Chapters Of Coming Home For Christmas Book

Chapter 1

‘’Well, if I can make a suggestion… London is always beautiful at this time of year…’’

As we all know, the beginning is always important. The statement above was made by an airport attendant to Lacey after she had run away from home. She had arrived at the airport without a clue about where to go to, so she sought advice from an attendant after confiding in him about what happened to her.

This is the chapter of Coming Home For Christmas that narrates how Lacey caught the man she was in love with, Dylan Tate, in bed with her brother whom she also loved, Luca Carpenter.

It was one hell of a shell shock for Lacey in this chapter of the novel with a fantastic plot. Her engagement party was going on full swing when she entered her hotel room probably to take a break and discovered the taboo of the century.

But wait a minute. Couldn’t Dylan and Luca wait until the engagement party was over? How could they have thought that they wouldn’t get caught? Especially for the fact that Lacey was sharing the room with Dylan? There must be more to that plot.

One would love to think that they wanted Lacey to find them, honestly, because it was dumb of them to go into a love making session in that environment. If it was not Lacey who caught them, it might have been someone else.

In this same chapter, Lacey left her engagement party and went to a bar to drink away her sorrow where she got drunk and slept with a ‘mystery man.’

How drunk was Lacey to not have known that the man she was sleeping with was the best friend of another of her brothers, Logan Black?

Well, Logan knew that it was Lacey because in further chapters, chapter 7 to be precise, he was lamenting after being frustrated for looking for her, and he made mention of that fateful night.

Chapter 6

This hot chapter of Coming Home For Christmas Novel starts another angle to the entire plot. Logan Black’s children were now looking for him. Yes, the kids had heard about their father and started to ask questions.

This is how it all went down. There was an autistic boy in the triplet’s school called Elijah, and he was being bullied at school until Lacey’s triplets saved him. Word got to Elijah’s mother about the incident, so she came to thank the mother of the triplet’s for raising such intelligent, humane and brave kids, and that was when the mother of Elijah got a closer look at the triplets, especially Logan Jnr, and started to dig deep.

‘’Can we trust him?’’

‘’I don’t know, Lo.’’

‘’I think we can trust him; I mean what’s he got to lie about? Besides, he did say that he had overheard his mum and dad talking about us.’’

Elijah had become friends with the triplets after they saved him from bullies, si he was comfortable around them. Little did the triplets even know that Elijah was their cousin. Elijah’s father was Ryker Black, Logan Snr’s brother.

Elijah triggered the triplets to start an investigation about their father, and one way or another, they got their hands on Logan Snr’s picture, and started to compare the resemblance between him and all of them, especially Logan Jnr.

Lacey noticed that her kids were too quiet and seemed invested in something fishy, so she went to their room to investigate and that was when she found out what they had been revealed to.

Lacey had to confess at the end of this chapter that, the man who her daughter had displayed to her on her phone, was their father.

Part 3: Characters Of Coming Home For Christmas Story

Lacey Carpenter

The female lead and main character of the novel, Lacey Carpenter was the lady who bore triplets for Logan Black after having a one-night stand with him following the disruption of her engagement party to Dylan Tate.

Lacey fled New York after she discovered her fiancé having sex with her older brother. The drastic shock that such a revelation caused her, made her to get drunk and sleep with a man she did not even take note of in the bar, only for her to wake up to him the following morning to discover that he was her other older brother’s friend, Logan Black.

Lacey Carpenter fled to London where she changed her name from Lacey Carpenter to Lacey Wright, and took on a different career part of writing after her hopes of being a teacher were tarnished.

She gave birth to triplets, two boys and a girl, and they belonged to Logan Black,

although he was not aware of it.

Dylan Tate

Not much was said about Dylan except for the fact that he was a good-for-nothing fellow. He was the fiancé of Lacey Carpenter who cheated on her with her older brother and dared to act righteous after Lacey’s parents wondered why she had suddenly disappeared from her engagement party, rendering it fruitless.

Logan Black

Logan Black is the deviously handsome mystery man who Lacey slept with while she was drunk after she discovered the shock of her life. He was the best friend of one of Lacey’s older brothers, and definitely not the one that was caught sleeping with her fiancé.

Logan was later discovered to have been in love with Lacey from the onset, even though Lacey thought he only saw her as the little sister of his best friend.

Logan was the father of Lacey’s triplets, but he did not know that the passionate night he had spent with her would yield such lovely kids.

Part 4: Conclusion Of Coming Home For Christmas Novel

As much as Coming Home For Christmas has a fantastic plot and is a very interesting novel, it is rather too slow paced, especially within the first ten chapters.

Yes, a novel has to carry enough detail with it, but this novel has so many irrelevant topics being talked about that it might bore readers away before they get to the juicy information.

Nevertheless, this review will do justice to it to enable readers hang in there while the interesting plot is slowly revealed until they can’t get enough of the novel and find it difficult to keep it down.
