Part 1: What Is The Farm Full Movie By Ian Knaeur Story About?

The Farm Movie, as much as it can be called a movie, tilts more towards documenting the exploration of Ian Knaeur around food and the growing of the said case study.

Ian Knaeur mentions that he has spent at least ten years traveling around the world and discovering different foods that he returned home to grow and cook for himself.

An American living and growing the Knaeur Farm in the countryside, he states that after his journey around the world, he has settled for the fact that what they offer in the United States as regards food is nothing short of world class cooking.

I kind of agree with that because American food can be said to be one of the best global delicacies around the world. Apart from Chinese food which stands out remarkably, American food also has delicacies that can be found anywhere around the world and that is exactly what Ian Knaeur is trying to tell us.

The Potatoe Nachos that Ian made in this documentary, was made directly out of The Farm that Ian started by himself, and it brings us to the same spiral about how these farms are important for all of us.

These foods that Ian grows directly from his farm enrich the lives of him and his family in the sense that he does not have to break a sweat by going to the market to purchase any ingredients to cook, as he can easily pick them out of his farm.

Also, he gets to sell the excesses that he makes from his farm, so what does that mean for Ian? More money, and he makes this money by doing work strictly on his own terms.

Okay, let Ian teach us how he makes his Potatoe Nachos that he gets straight out of his farm.

He digs out some potatoes from his garden, washes them, peels them, and then he boils them so that they are nice and tender. The next step for him is to crush these potatoes lightly. Take note and remember that while Ian is crushing these potatoes, he does not completely mash them to pieces, no. Ian still maintains the form of the potatoes, while he crushes them as all he wants is to expose the inner flesh of the potatoes.

As soon as he crushes these potatoes, it is now time to fry them. Deep frying, that is what Ian does with these potatoes. He completely immerses them in hot oil and makes sure that every nook and cranny of the potatoes are fried to taste. By deep frying them to taste, we mean that they are nice and soft on the inside, and crispy on the outside.

The next step for Ian is to add toppings to the Potatoe. He adds some cheese toppings to them, alongside some Masarella, and then he adds a little bit of Fresco which is an ingredient that goes hand in hand with the cheese.

The next ingredient to enter is some sour cream. By this time, the food is already starting to look yummy. After adding all these toppings to the Potatoe, the entire platter goes into the oven for about five minutes.

After this has been baked for about five minutes, it comes out and is being adorned with some special tomato sauce also curated by Ian and with that, we have Ian Knaeur’s special dish called the Potatoe Nachos which he made with ingredients that are straight out of The Farm.

The Farm Movie is narrated by Ian Knaeur. Ian directly informs us about his travails and travels around the world, searching for the best foods, so it is not even a question of if The Farm Movie is based on a true story or not, because it is nothing sort of a live show.

We are introduced directly into Ian’s world, as he shows us what it is like to live in the countryside. While most of us might look down on living in the countryside, I am here to inform you that it has its perks.

For example, living in the city, one might be opportune to have a small garden which won’t be able to grow as much crop as one desires. I mean, living in the city with a real farm requires a vast expanse of land, and that would be expensive to achieve, so why should we look down on those that live in the countryside and are exposed to lands as big as football fields or even bigger, where they can farm easily on? Ian Knaeur knows his onions and invites us to join him.
