I predict this senior-aged character might get more dialogue portions only in early episodes. That way, Mr. Carlisle should catalyze the growth of Emma and Cameron’s relationships in the future.

Mr. Carlisle might be a minor supporting character in My Billionaire Husband Doesn’t Remember Me movie, but that doesn’t mean Tom isn’t an experienced actor. After all, Tom’s face has been present in more than 200 small-to-large-scaled movies since 1982.

Storyline

Long story short, she gives up on her father’s demands by marrying Cameron Monroe. It felt too early for me had I put myself in Emma’s shoes. Yet, why not, as long as Emma and Cameron feel comfortable with each other?

One day, Emma and Cameron decide to have some me-time moments in a building. Suddenly, a fire consumes the building, which invites local authorities to get inside with extinguishers and other equipment. Unfortunately, the fire gets more dangerous. It also becomes more difficult for the main couple in My Billionaire Husband Doesn’t Remember Me movie to move out from the building.

After some tiresome hours of locating the emergency exit, Emma and Cameron finally move out of the building. Emma’s wounds are less severe than her husband’s. Meanwhile, Cameron is in a critical condition. Not only did he get hospitalized, but the medical teams also plastered his head with bandages.

Even ten years later, Cameron’s damaged head doesn’t fully recover. The medical teams might have successfully recovered Cameron’s outer wounds, but Emma has to work hard to recover his memories.

Not only Cameron has forgotten his wife, but he also falsely accuses Emma of leaving him alone, almost dying in the fire!

In the meantime, Emma is forced to return to her father’s house. What will the father say or do to his daughter? How will Emma preserve her efforts in prioritizing her husband’s memories after her “home time”?

The Characters’ Performance And Interactions

The presence of the words “My” and “Me” in My Billionaire Husband Doesn’t Remember Me means this movie tells stories according to Emma Carlisle’s POVs. Meanwhile, “My Husband” means Cameron Monroe, the man Emma has been deeply in love with since the movie’s stories haven’t even started.

Cameron’s roles feel more passive to me, especially in earlier episodes. After all, his heavy injuries result in his lost memories, and recovering memories is not an instant process. Now that Cameron has issued a divorce while accusing his wife of betraying him, is it possible for some third-party roles? For me, the answer is “Yes”, but most of such antagonistic roles will come from Emma’s side rather than Cameron’s.

As for Mr. Carlisle a.k.a. Emma’s father, I don’t think he would develop as a caring father figure. After all, his ugly side in arranging for his daughter’s marriage has emerged since the beginning of the episode. His character development might involve his advisor role, but rather than a well-intentioned advisor, he could have gas lit Emma by pushing her further into his marriage scheme.

Still, I hope Emma and Cameron will have a HEA ending while getting rid of Mr. Carlisle from the screen. The endings could involve Cameron’s fully restored memories, his apologies to Emma, and their mutual efforts to reinforce their marriage.
