In Betrayed By Everyone, Loved By Four, Amelia Holmebrooke had a fine dose of extreme bullying, betrayal, cruelty, just name it. Teenage affairs somehow always turn sour, and the teenage age is one of the most sensitive times of a kid’s life and this novel goes on to buttress this point vividly.
Amelia suffered betrayal and rejection in the hands of her supposed best friend, Venessa, and her boyfriend James, but right on her birthday after one year of suffering in the hands of her perpetrators, hope shone on her again.

“Betrayed By Everyone, Loved By Four,’’ is a novel with a high school setting, that narrates typically about what goes on in the life of a teenager. Amelia, popularly known and addressed as Millie, had a boyfriend called James. She met James through her longtime friend called Venessa, whom she had been friends with since kindergarten.
Vanessa had invited Amelia, or Millie. For the sake of this review, we will call her Millie as she is popularly called in the novel. Vanessa and Millie had attended a party and Vanessa left Millie on her own, to go and hook up with a fling. Being alone and not exactly a social butterfly, Millie wandered away and was met by a young man who also needed some quiet, away from the heavy sound of music in the party. His name was James.
James and Millie kicked it off, with James picking Millie up from her home to school every morning until one day Millie’s world came crashing down. Millie attended a party with James and at that party, she lost her virginity to him. Now, guess what James did to Millie right after he got up from having sex with her? James broke up with Millie instantly, claiming that all he ever wanted from her was sex, and now that he had gotten it, he was done.
Wow!
To think that a teenager could be evil is pretty mind-blowing. Of course, for days and weeks, Millie cried her eyes out until she could cry no more, and as if her luck could not get any worse, she went to school one day and found out that everyone had switched on her and would now rather humiliate her. Okay, why?

Millie went to her locker, and saw her supposed best friend, Vanessa, who was a cheerleader in the school, there with other cheerleaders. Vanessa told Millie right there that she had been sleeping with James the entire time that they were dating, and that Millie snatched James from her, but thankfully, now that James had dumped Millie, he was back with her, Vanessa.
Not only did Vanessa tell this horrible lie to Millie, but she also spread it round the school, and that was the reason everyone now hated Millie and picked on her. Vanessa also told Millie that their friendship was a hoax, and that she only felt pity for Millie, that was why she tried to hold on to their friendship, but that the fact that Millie had dared to steal her boyfriend, made her wait around some more for revenge.
Well, now that Vanessa had gotten her revenge, it was goodbye.
Millie was left with a broken spirit, and that was the beginning of her nightmare in school. Just an aside, but why is it that when teenagers are facing this sort of thing at school, they never inform their parents?
Moving on, according to Betrayed By Everyone, Loved By Four Novel, Millie was physically, emotionally and mentally abused throughout the year until at the start of her senior year, she decided that she would not give in. In fact, the title of the first chapter of the novel says, ’’New Year, New Me.’’
Millie had moved on. Unlike the former school year when she would dress in all black, with a hoodie and strive to be as invisible as possible, Millie now put on fiery and colorful clothes and had a burst of energy as she resumed her first day of the new school year.
The school year started off on a rather cool note, but it soon took off in the wrong direction as the curse words on Millie’s locker resumed. The only difference this time according to Betrayed By Everyone, Loved By Four, was that Millie handled the situation differently. Unlike before, Millie would cry and mourn and act depressed, attracting everyone with negative energy towards her, but all that came to a halt.
There was no sign of weakness whatsoever from Millie.
If there is one thing everyone should know, it is that, if you want something to change, you have to handle it from a different point of view. Act differently! That was what Millie did. When Millie started to respond differently to her situation, the attitude of those who would rather bully her before, started to change until guess what? James returned to Millie, asking for them to reconcile and ignite whatever affair they ever had before.
Can you imagine? James got some nerve, honestly.
Of course, Millie was not going to accept him, in fact, she made James understand just how much he irritated her and dismissed him. As soon as that happened, Millie was summoned to the principal’s office, where she saw Vanessa there, crying and acting defeated. Millie was confused. By the time the principal narrated the reason he had invited Millie to his office, Millie could not help but burst out laughing.
Vanessa complained that Millie was bullying her. Really? The oppressor had suddenly become oppressed. Interesting! After a back and forth with the principal who happened to be James’ grandfather, Millie threatened to sue the man because she had reported the same case of bullying throughout her former school year, but nothing was done.
Eventually, Millie got to meet a new student in the library called Oliver, and he was a thousand times more handsome than James, and he showed keen interest in her. Even though Millie had become somewhat insecure already, claiming that as soon as Oliver realized how everyone in school hated her, he would also hate her, Oliver showed no sign of backing down from Millie, him and three other friends of his.
Part 2: Main Characters Of Betrayed By Everyone, Loved By Four Novel
Amelia Holmebrooke
The female lead of Betrayed By Everyone, Loved By Four Novel, Amelia Holmebrooke suffered rejection from her entire school because of lies talked about her after her boyfriend dumped her right after stealing her virginity.
It was from frying pan to fire for ‘’Millie,’’ as she was fondly called in the novel.
Millie had a childhood friend that she trusted with everything in her, little did she know that this friend of hers was nothing but trouble and lies.
Millie suffered for one year in school and cried her eyes out every day until she decided at the start of her senior year to put an end to her woes.
Millie no longer succumbed to bullying and rejection from her school mates, in fact, she responded so differently to the entire negative events that unfolded, to the extent that her bullies naturally started getting tired of bullying her, since they failed to get the response that they desired.
Seeking change, great change eventually came for Millie when four new students, hotter and more attractive than James, showed up in her school, and showed deep interest in her. It was now left for Millie to pick one of them, pick none of them, or pick all of them.
James
James was a terrible boy. In fact, he caused the nightmare that Millie faced in that school as he dated Millie and then dumped her as soon as he stole her virginity. James was a manipulative young man and a male prostitute because after he dumped Millie, he started to openly date Vanessa, Millie’s best friend, and then went on to date another of Vanessa’s friends called, Milinda.
James tried to make up with Millie after humiliating her, so he returned on her birthday with a necklace, claiming that he was sorry for what he did to Millie, and would like them to continue dating again, but thankfully, Millie rejected him.
Vanessa
A devil indeed! Vanessa ruined Millie’s life in school, and to think that, according to Betrayed By Everyone, Loved By Four Novel, she had been a friend of Millie right from kindergarten.
So, where did the hate and jealousy for Millie come from?
Vanessa set Millie up in a bad way, spreading rumors about Millie, stating that Millie took her boyfriend from her and said all sorts of negative things about Millie that turned the entire school, starting from the cheerleader team against Millie.
Vanessa was very manipulative, and would rather not see Millie happy, as she always came up with a different ploy every time to make sure that Millie suffered continuously in school while she played the victim.
Oliver
As far as Millie’s story was concerned, Oliver was a breath of fresh air for Millie. He was one of the four that loved Millie eventually as new students and was the first to meet Millie in the school’s library and instantly took a liking for her.
Part 3: Hot Chapters Of Betrayed By Everyone, Loved By Four Novel
Chapter 71
One year of Millie being humiliated and rejected by everyone in her school definitely paid off for her if you know what I mean.
In this chapter of Betrayed By Everyone, Loved By Four Novel, Millie was seen having a threesome which started with Leo alone at first, and then they were joined by Milo.
Wow, just wow.
It goes to tell us that Millie accepted the four boys then, right? She was one hell of a girl, and I am sure that Vanessa must have been more jealous of her for cornering four handsome boys to herself.
Most of the detail in this chapter talks about how hot the sex between Millie and Leo and Milo was, and the fact that it was all based on a bet.
Milo was going to lose a bet that they had placed if he went ahead to fuck Millie, but he did not care because, the more they spoke about it, the wetter Millie was, and the crazier Milo got to get into Millie.
Chapter 147
Millie is pregnant! It’s very funny to see that Millie is shocked at the fact that she is pregnant when she has been having sex with four handsome boys continuously throughout her senior year.
Well, she swears that she has been taking the pill during dinner every day, but somehow, look at where she found herself. Whose fault?
In this chapter of the novel, Millie is trying to make sense of what has happened. She eventually confesses to herself that she has been asking those four boyfriends of hers to cum in her for the past three years, and now, she feels stupid staring at the result of her ordeal.
Who is the father of Millie’s pregnancy? Is it Oliver, Atlas, Milo, or Leo?
Conclusion
Novels like this are hardly boring because young adults have all the energy in them to rub off on anyone, and it is duly depicted in the case of Millie and her rival cohorts.
The plot, rich as it is, dives deeply into the life of Millie and the author’s ability to create relatable scenes to the everyday lives of teenagers is just outstanding and should be applauded.
