Part 1: Fake It Till You Love Me Full Movie Review
Fake It Till You Love Me Movie would be released exclusively to ReelShort on October 17th, 2024, and as the name implies, was exactly what happened in this movie, even though that was not the intended goal of the couple involved.
Caroline Dean had been betrayed by her fiancé after she caught him in bed with her school mate, Abby Lee.
Caroline must have really been in love with the unfaithful brat because when she found out that he was cheating on her with her, she broke down and found herself getting drunk in a public area.
A drunk Caroline found herself in an entanglement that should have never happened in the first place if not because, well, fate just wanted to do her a favor as she had a lot on her plate in regard to her finances.
Caroline had a brother that needed heart surgery, and she was saving money back-to-back to afford her brother’s bill. This entanglement that Caroline found herself in as a result of her getting drunk was one that would help her offset the hospital bills of her brother without her spending her entire savings.
Caroline, while drunk, was set up as if she had a one-night stand with her boss, Edward Forrest.
Edward was a target by his brother who wanted the family’s company to himself, and so when Edward and Caroline were loose and drunk, Ian, Edwards brother, took a photo of them while they were in a compromising position, and released it to the public, sparking a scandal that would cost Edward the control of the Forrest family’s wealth if he was not careful.
At this point, Caroline and Edward needed each other desperately because, while Edward needed to get married to Caroline in order to manage the scandal that he was involved in with her, Caroline needed money for her brother’s heart surgery.
So, when Edward came up with the suggestion for them to get married via contract, Caroline readily agreed and Edward and Caroline got married, but according to Fake It Till You Love Me Movie, the marriage came with its own challenges.
Ian, Edward’s brother, knew the reason behind the sudden marriage between his brother and his employee, so he stopped at nothing, as he continued to create situations that would prove to the world that the marriage was fake.
On one occasion, Caroline was set up by Ian when he offered four flavors of coffee, asking Caroline to give Edward the one he preferred knowing that Edward was allergic to the rest of the flavors.
The reason Ian was doing this was just to prove to his grandmother, and anyone else involved, that Edward’s marriage was a sham.
Of course, Caroline failed the test and gave Edward the wrong coffee, satisfying Ian’s need for them to be discovered as a scam couple.
It was not only Ian who was involved in trying to get the truth behind Edward and Caroline’s marriage, even Edward’s grandmother was often found throwing across tests here and there for Caroline to prove herself.
Luckily, Carloine also had her brother’s life on the line, and needed for that contract marriage to work, so she applied herself more throughout the duration of the fake marriage until she started to actually fall in love with Edward Forrest.
Another stressful experience for Caroline during her fake marriage to Edward was this schoolmate of hers, Abby Lee.
The truth was that Abby was just jealous of Caroline and wanted anything Caroline had because after snatching Jake from Carloine in the past, why didn’t she just stick with him?
When Abby saw that Caroline had hooked up with the billionaire, Edward Forrest, she advanced her treacherous games towards him as well and tried to seduce him at a company event.
The lady was just all over the place, trying to undermine Caroline whichever way she could.
The saying that an enemy of your enemy is your friend came through in Fake It Till You Love Me Movie because, Ian and Abby soon collaborated as they tried to expose the marriage between Edward and Caroline as a scam.
While Ian was jealous of his brother, Edward, and wanted what he had, Abby was jealous of Caroline and wanted what she had. Together, they tried to ruin the relationship between Caroline and Edward, but was it so easy?
It was not easy because Caroline and Edward had started to have real feelings for each other. At first, Edward suspected foul play between Caroline and her brother as he did not understand the relationship between them, but soon enough, he came around understanding what was happening and tried to win Caroline back after staying away as he tried to make sense of what was happening.
Caroline and Edward falling in love with each other happened right on schedule as Edward’s grandmother who was still concerned with finding out if their marriage was true, arranged for them to attend a company ball together, and that was the last straw that cemented the love and romance between Edward and Caroline.

The cast of Fake It Till You Love Me is based on a close-knit family setting.
Caroline Dean
Caroline is the lead female character of the movie. Caroline, although gentle at heart and committed to a genuinely discreet life, knew how to stand up for herself and get to business when it was required of her. This was seen first-hand in the issue she had with her brother who needed heart surgery.
Caroline was committed to saving money for a hospital bill which was on the heavy side even though she knew that it was going to be excruciating considering the fact that she did not earn so much.
Caroline resulted in getting married to her boss because she saw it as an opportunity to save the money for her brother faster, but love came up the radar and swept her off her feet as she started to have genuine feelings for her boss.
Caroline had a lot to deal with throughout the course of the movie including betrayal from her boyfriend, Jake who slept with her school mate.
Edward Forrest
Edward Forrest is the male lead of Fake It Till You Love Me Movie. Edward is the head of the Forrest family’s wealth and is a drop-dead gorgeous man who is seen as cold and ruthless but shows a softer side to Caroline.
Edward was the target of his brother, Ian, who wanted to run the company that Edward was the leader of, so Edward was set up with Caroline and was caught in a compromising position with her.
In a bid to save face, Edward offered marriage to Caroline. They were married via contract, and Edward found out that he was in love with Caroline in the long run.
Jake Smith
Jake Smith is a good for nothing fellow in Fake It Till You Love Me Movie. He was Caroline’s ex-boyfriend and while he dated Caroline who was in love with him and thought he loved her too, he cheated on her and stole their joint savings. That money was what Caroline hoped to save her brother’s life.
Jake humiliated Caroline continuously while they were together, but as soon as she moved on and he saw that she had started to transform into a better woman, he tried to win her back. How shameless.
Abby Lee
Another good for nothing fellow. Abby Lee was Caroline’s schoolmate and classmate. Abby was from a wealthy background, so it was surprising that she was often found to be jealous of Caroline.
Abby Lee was the person who Jake, Caroline’s Ex-boyfriend was cheating with, and she was so jealous of Caroline to the extent that she joined forces with Ian, Edwards brother, to expose the fact that Caroline had a fake marriage with Edward.
Not forgetting, Abby progressed from Jake and also tried to seduce and take Edward from Caroline, but it didn’t work.
