Edith Austen Blair is originally a highly focused book author who values her online reputation so dearly. Angie, her roommate, is her biggest supporter whenever Nolan Blair, her indifferent husband, is not around. Edith used to be Edith Austen before she married the unwilling Nolan.

Olivia Fildes is the actress behind Edith Austen’s characters in the movie Light My Fire. This movie is the second TV series she has starred in 2024. Still, locally-made short movies dominate her other roles. Anyway, this Melbourne-based actress has experienced the London dance stages apart from all the short films and TV series that she stars in.

Tommi Krasic as Nolan Blair

Nolan Blair of Light My Fire short movie is originally a great spouse. He never intends to marry; instead, his parents continually force him to marry by using things precious to him as threats. At first, he believes Nancy’s plays. Yet, he starts to atone for his sins to Edith as the story progresses.

Hilary Boyce, the actress behind Nancy’s villain role in Light My Fire short movie, is yet another Victoria, Australia-based actress in this movie. Hilary’s major roles other than this movie in 2024 are within the RMIT University’s domain. Part 2: All About Light My Fire Short Film Summary (Nolan & Edith)

Nolan and Edith in Light My Fire movie have been married for three years. Yet, they never truly felt knowing each other in depth. It is because Nolan’s persistent parents have always bothered him if he stayed true to his decision to marry someone based on his timeline.

In Light My Fire movie Nolan and Edith’s relationship initially comes off as the loveless one. Nolan never validates Edith’s words. Instead, he succumbs to a stranger named Nancy Anderson. Early episodes of this movie suggest Nancy threatens Edith to back off from Nolan because Nancy is pregnant with Nolan’s son.

Nancy then falls to the ground by herself. Yet, her audacious part causes her to stage the scene as if Edith is pushing her to the ground. It drives Nolan furious and all-set for some “revenge-done-sweetly” moments when the doctor announces Nancy has miscarried.

Edith knows the truth, which causes her not to surrender. After all, Angie Jones has always been her best friend. Edith’s quality time with Angie causes her to slowly learn to let Nolan and his new girlfriend go.

Nolan’s grandfather suddenly becomes the peacemaker just as Edith has vowed for herself to let Nolan go. Since Nolan wishes to obey his grandfather’s wishes, he starts to follow his grandfather’s advice to go after Edith. Edith is working on her novel at the time Nolan crawls back to her house.

A few moments later, someone else accuses Edith of plagiarism. Other authors also begin to unfollow her. As Edith and Angie try their best to recover the lost reputation, will she ever forgive Nolan for whatever things he has committed in the past?

Could these nasty things happening on Edith’s social media platforms be the result of Nancy’s people’s dirty hands?

Part 3: How Will The Light My Fire Full Movie Ending Goes?

Looking at the relationship dynamics between Nolan and Edith in Light My Fire full movie, it only makes sense if some audiences expected a HEA ending. Nolan, after all, acknowledges his faults by making them up to Edith.

The deep talks between Nolan and Edith after Nolan’s shocking discovery of Nancy’s possible lies are too amazing to miss out on. While Edith’s skepticism is understandable (because who else would open her heart so easily after a hurtful betrayal?), I must say that I admire Nolan’s courage in talking about these things to Edith.

Yet, that’s only between Nolan and Edith without considering interactions and communications with the supporting characters. I don’t quite see many portions describing Nolan’s conversations with Angie, at least in the first ten episodes.

It makes me prepare for the worst ending, for Angie is Edith’s best friend and can determine how the relationship will continue. I am even prepared for one of the main characters’ death.

I would be so pleased if Nancy learned her place. She should feel that way, for she has made Edith suffer several times. Yet, I can’t see the same things happening to other good-natured characters like Angie.

Part 4: Watch An Alternative Movie To Light My Fire

I can see that the Light My Fire short movie director and producer teams initially planned for this movie’s categorization under “Love After Marriage”. After all, early dialogues between Nolan and Edith explicitly mention their marriage is a marriage of convenience. Nolan isn’t the only person working on the broken marriage; instead, Edith also embarks on the journey.

Speaking of the “Love After Marriage” category, I suddenly remember another movie on ReelShort. The movie’s title is, “Dear Husband, Delete My Number!” The movie’s plot involves the ex-husband chasing his ex-wife back after their divorce and the ex-wife goes to her best friend’s place to regain her power and move on from her ex-husband.

In the “Dear Husband, Delete My Number!” movie on ReelShort, Emma, a Juilliard-graduate woman, has married the billionaire Elijah Williams for three years in a marriage of convenience setting from Elijah’s grandfather. Elijah’s cheating with Stella, a movie star, and his denials, are two things that make Emma go to her best friend’s place to cry over the divorce and find the new unleashed power within. Yet, what if Elijah also wanted to fix his faults and return to her?
