Summary

Emma Johnson runs for Class President along with her nemesis Lucas Bennet. Lucas seems to be an entitled rich kid, whose parents always give him what he wants. He doesn’t care about being president, he just loves the adrenaline of running for the presidency.

In Maid For My Nemesis movie, as Emma wins the elections, Lucas becomes her vice president, making her his direct coordinator. They bicker about the current situation, slightly provoking one another.

To everyone else, Emma is a nerd with perfect scores and class attendance but in reality. She’s just struggling to create a better life for herself. Elite high school is a top establishment for rich kids and Emma can’t afford the fee. She’s on scholarship, but no one knows and she tries to keep this a secret.

After school, she always goes to work, trying to make money to support herself and pay for her dad’s medical bills and upcoming heart surgery. She’s a tough cookie, putting up with shameless men at the diner she works at just to help her dad.

As men start harassing Emma once again, Lucas shows up and gets her fired. He has no idea that the girl needs the job so much, mistaking her need to work with her father cutting off her allowance and not affording to buy a new purse. Talk about shallow mind, right?

He does offer his help though, hiring Emma as his personal maid. She can’t afford to deny the job, as Lucas is willing to pay a great amount of money.

Emma learns to make his coffee and clean his places, all these while wearing a maid uniform. Lucas may be the boss at home, but on school grounds, things change and the president doesn’t hold off from using her power.

Their love-hate relationship turns into something beautiful as Lucas stands up for Emma in school when the school’s cheerleading captain tries to set her up to have her expelled.

As the story progresses, Emma eventually finds out there’s more to Lucas than she knows. He’s not the spoiled Bennet brat. At the same time Lucas will figure out that his new personal maid is not looking to buy new jewelry or designer bags, she wants to save her dad.

Twist

As everything seems to finally settle for our protagonists in Maid for My Nemesis, an important figure in Lucas’s life shows up, disrupting everything. And I’m not talking about an old fling.

That’s right! I’m talking about his mother. She neglected her son for months and now she’s back and tries to lure Emma away, considering her a fortune hunter.

Every step they make is well thought out, careful not to hurt anyone. Emma and Lucas make the perfect couple, they’re young enough to be playful, yet mature enough to love wholeheartedly.
