Urgency ruled the day in Married At First Sight Movie as Christian Norton was seen going against the free flow of what was considered sanity, to score himself a wife especially one like Summer Cale.

His risky plot was carried out in a bid not to upset his grandmother, and what did he get? Did he succeed? Well, Christian succeeded in making sure to avoid upsetting his grandmother as well as scoring himself a wife that fit his status perfectly.

Part 1: Storyline Behind Married At First Sight Movie

Married At First Sight narrates the story Summer Cale, and how she maneuvered her love life as well as the jealousy that she faced as soon as her life turned around for the better.

In the beginning of the movie, Summer is seen arguing with her now ex-lover, who was seen with another lady perched beside him and looking down on Summer as she stated the conditions that her ex-lover would have to meet for them to call it a truce following their breakup.

Summer Cale single handedly took care of her lover, Vincent Adwell’s upkeep when he was in law school. If not for Summer, Vincent might have never graduated law school or even attended it in the first place.

It was not as if Summer had the money to do all that, she didn’t. She worked three jobs, and regularly donated her blood to get incentives so that she could ensure that Vincent saw himself through law school and graduated, but guess what Vincent did instead?

Vincent abandoned Summer as soon as he became comfortable and started to date another lady called Nancy Reeve.

Well, since that was what Vincent wanted, Summer was ready to oblige him as she knew that karma would definitely catch up with him, but there were conditions Vincent had to meet in order for Summer not to feel cheated.

Summer demanded the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars as payment from Vincent for all she had done for him, especially seeing him through law school. Summer could be seen arguing with Vincent and Nancy at the beginning of the movie, only for Nancy to toss thirty thousand dollars on the floor, asking Summer to go on her knees and pick the money up like a beggar.

Summer was so upset with what Nancy did because she could not ignore the money, yet she could not go down on her knees to pick up money that was deliberately flung at her.

Summer made sure to pour Nancy a bit of the coffee that she was drinking, and then she walked out most likely without taking that money.

Now, while Summer and Vincent and Nancy were having this back and forth, a billionaire CEO named Christian Norton Jr was having his own episode with his grandmother who said that she would drop dead if Christian did not show her his wife-to-be at that moment.

Christian did not have any woman yet to show to his grandmother, but he also did not want her to die, so what did Christian do?

It was coincidental that a pretty lady was walking past him when he was lying to his grandmother that his wife-to-be said she was on her way but had not gotten there yet.

As soon as Christian saw Summer walking past him, he pulled her towards him and told his grandmother that she was the woman he had been talking about since, that she had finally arrived.

Dramatic right?

Christian pulled Summer and showed her to his grandmother, even though he had not the slightest idea who she was, and guess what? Summer flowed with Christian’s plot. Before Summer knew what was happening, she had become Mrs. Norton.

Summer could not believe how she went from being humiliated by her nappy ex-lover and his new catch, to becoming the wife of a man she did not even know.

Well, life continues, right? Right!

Summer went to work the following day, only for her boss to walk up to her, asking her to secure an interview for the company or else she would get fired.

The interview was to be done to the CEO of Norton Group whom everyone knew as an asshole and literally unreachable.

Summer’s boss thought that there was no way Summer would be able to secure that interview, unknown to her that Summer had gotten married to this CEO the previous day.

Even Summer did not know that her new husband was CEO Norton.

Now, how did Summer’s boss suddenly get to ask Summer to do the impossible or else she would be fired?

It was because of none other than Nancy Reeve. Summer’s boss, Penny Reeve was Nancy Reeve’s aunty. Do you remember Nancy Reeve? The lady that Summer poured coffee on for throwing money on the floor for Summer to kneel and pick.

Summer was confused about her boss’ sudden demand, but she could not say no so she accepted the proposal and took the file from her boss, only to open it and see the picture of her husband there as the CEO she needed to interview.

Lucky Summer!

She immediately called her husband to fix the interview, and well, should I say to her surprise? Her husband would not say no to her, would he?

Christian Norton agreed and before Summer’s boss knew what was happening, the interview had been fixed.

In that case, the woman had failed.

Okay. The boss had one last way to make Summer fail at this interview thing, so she ignored Summer’s questions for the interview, and wrote out questions that she forced Summer to ask the man.

The questions were deemed offensive, so Summer’s boss thought that she had gotten Summer again, but she was wrong because Christian Norton loved the questions and deliberately answered them since he knew that the media were fishing for juicy information from him.

There’s a plot twist to this movie that would further blow the mind of viewers. So, Summer Cale, when she was born, was swapped.

Summer and Nancy were born in the same hospital, on the same day and about the same time, and Summer was born to the Reeve family where Nancy currently was their daughter.  

Part 2: Introduce The Cast Of Married At First Sight Movie

Summer Cale

Summer Cale is the female lead character of the movie, Married At First Sight. To put it directly, Summer Cale is the lady who was Married At First Sight in the movie.

Summer was a lady who was tough as they came, in the sense that, no matter the amount of difficulty she faced throughout her life, she tried not to allow it to weigh her down, or she tried not to make it become her identity.

Summer, in this movie, was said to have bent herself backwards for a man who did not love her one bit. What a huge mistake it was on Summer’s part to go as far as donating her blood for sale so that she could have the money to train a grown man in law school.

Maybe Summer was his mother in her past life because one would struggle to understand what made her think that she was in any position to do that just because she was dating this man in question, who, for your information, did not appreciate what Summer had done for him, and paid her back with unfaithfulness and scorn.

In Married At First Sight Movie, it was narrated that Summer Cale was switched at birth. Summer was originally a Reeve child, meaning she was born into enormous wealth, affluence and influence, but how could she access those things when she had been forced away from her original family and given to a good-for-nothing couple called the Cales?

It was obvious that Summer did not belong to the Cale family because she was just not as useless and scheming as they were. Imagine what they did when they found out that Summer Cale was now married to a wealthy CEO?

They started to demand for unreasonable amounts of money from Summer, stating that they passed through a lot in raising her as if she was their own child, meanwhile, they had ensured that their real child which was Nancy, was sent off to Summer’s parents, the Reeve couple who actually lost their lives before they could find their real daughter, Summer.

Christian Norton Jr.

Christian Norton Jr. Is the male lead character of the movie, and the CEO of Norton Enterprises, who saw a girl for the first time in his life and pulled her to the court to instantly make her his wife.

A Norton family billionaire, and a world-class, renowned businessman, Norton was feared by everyone that came across his name, but that never related to the love of his life whom he randomly met on the way when he was desperate to show his grandmother the lady that he would get married to.

Christian Norton Jr. went above all odds for his wife, Summer as soon as he got married to her, including helping her to investigate the Cales.

Summer and the Cale parents were so different that as soon as Christian saw them, he knew that he had some digging to do, and so he did so without even letting Summer know what he was up to until he had achieved result.

Nancy Reeve

Nancy Reeve started off as a villain in this movie and ended up as a bigger villain by the time she started to kill people and look for more people to kill.

Nancy Reeve was the fake daughter of the Reeve family, and the person who took Summer’s place in the Reeve family.

Nancy was a Cale, while Summer was a Reeve but they had been born the same day and time, and in the same hospital, so they were switched by some mischievous people who obviously had ulterior motives.

Nancy, while she was supposed to be a Reeve and act as classy and respectable as the Reeves, was nothing like them, and could not even pretend to be like them.

She was the nasty lady who was seen at the beginning of the movie with Summer’s ex-lover, reigning abuses on Summer and tossing money at her.

After losing a huge amount of money to Vincent Adwell, Nancy became a mega villain and set out to kill Vincent which she succeeded in doing, and then she ended up in jail where she belonged as far as her mischievous ways were concerned.
