Maya Jenson’s diverse experience in the film and television industries has brought the sweet-yet-stubborn characteristics of Hailey. Maya, after all, is not only well-known for her filming career, as she also directs one of the 2020-edition movie creation processes.

Candice might only be the Kaplan family’s maid’s daughter, but, her terrible attitudes have always been annoying.

Candice is a self-conceited bully who doesn’t hesitate to play the dirtiest manipulation tricks to get what she wants. The “respect” word is a foreign word for her, for she thinks other people are lower than her. She disrespects her mother, Hailey, and whomever she thinks doesn’t like her.

It is safe to say that casting as the villainous Candice is a new thing for actress Daniela Couso, for she is mostly famous for her protagonist roles, such as Mia Hart in ReelShort’s Fatal Temptation: Between Two Alphas movie. It will be interesting to watch the actress adapting to Candice’s manipulative characteristics!

Gail

All Queen Bees have loyal minions, and the 16-year-old Western High school girl named Gail is one of Candice’s loyal minions. I can predict many “yes-men” scenes involving Gail whenever Candice is around.

Like Candice, Gail is also someone who thinks she is above everyone else. It motivates her to join Candice in bullying Hailey. There are chances that Gail will remain in denial of Hailey’s actual heiress status until the end of the movie’s episodes.

Frank Kaplan

Frank Kaplan of True Heiress vs. Fake Queen Bee movie has consistently been named as the school’s biggest donator. It is because he is the respectable patriarch of the wealthy Kaplan family. Protecting the family’s reputation is everything for him. So, his beliefs lead him to an over-protective attitude towards Hailey, his daughter.

Part 2: The Storyline Of True Heiress vs. Fake Queen Bee Full Movie

The wealthy Kaplan family becomes the central point in the main story of True Heiress vs. Fake Queen Bee movie. The half-century man, whose name is Frank Kaplan, leads this family. Almost all high schools are aware of this philanthropist, for he donates the most amounts compared to other teens’ parents.

The wealthy Frank Kaplan has a daughter. Hailey Kaplan, the daughter, is 16 years old at the start of the movie’s episodes. Unlike her father who prizes the Kaplan family status and reputation, Hailey doesn’t want to be seen as one. Instead, she wants to enjoy a normal life as a high schooler. She wants to ensure other people are not aware of her identity.

So, Hailey gets herself enrolled in Western High, one of the schools where her father donates the money. Principal Adams, Western High’s Principal, is about to announce the Kaplan family’s donation on Hailey’s first day of going to school.

I sense a strange thing starting from this point. The Principal doesn’t appear; instead, the Dean does. The Dean doesn’t believe in Hailey. Instead, he believes that the Kaplan heiress should be Candice Mathis.

Candice appears on the scene with Gail, one of her loyal minions, to laugh at Hailey’s modest appearance. The more Hailey tries challenging their identities, the more Candice and Gail team up to make Hailey the school’s laughingstock.

Yet, Hailey can’t keep up with her low-profile self for a long time! Let’s see how she exposes Candice as a fraud. After all, Candice is only her family maid’s daughter!

Part 3: True Heiress vs. Fake Queen Bee Full Movie Review

I love the high school elements’ vivid descriptions in True Heiress vs. Fake Queen Bee movie. Many people around me consider 16 years old as the golden high school age. After all, most people find their love interest and passion in this timeline.

Hailey Kaplan and her love interest, Luke Davis, are 16 years old in their debut appearances in this movie. Yet, Luke is far more mature than his high-schooler status. Their relationships are stable for their age; the only unstable (yet thrilling) thing I constantly see is Candice’s bitterness towards Hailey.

Candice’s jealousy doesn’t only lead to her constant attacks on Hailey and the fruitless efforts in teaming up with other students and adults to destroy Hailey. To me, it also shows that money and looks don’t determine a person’s status; their attitude does.

No wonder Candice and her maid mother never rise until the end of the movie! Unless the movie director changes their mind to make some redemption arcs for these two antagonists.

Overall, I would rate this movie 9 out of 10. The wrestling extracurricular scenes that involve Luke, the traumatizing Queen Bee and her minion, and the main female character’s struggles in not revealing her identity are the scenes I love most!
