Anne Lopez

True Love Waits movie knows a modest and kind-hearted main female character. Anne Lopez is her full name. She works as a plumber. William, Anne’s son, has married a wealthy woman. The happy couple will be pregnant soon.

So, Anne thought of visiting her son, daughter-in-law, and the baby. Anne has likely saved more money to get to William and her happy family.

Suddenly, Anne encounters a fainting young lady on her way to William’s house. Her helpful nature causes her to immediately jump to rescue the young lady. Little does she know that this young lady is more than just a stranger.

The young lady comes from the powerful Windsor family. This persistent lady wants Anne to be her mother! So, we hope Anne and her love interest a.k.a. the lady’s father will form a strong relationship tie.

Leonardo “Leo” Windsor

True Love Waits movie first introduces Leonardo “Leo” Windsor as the CEO of the Windsor Group. Other characters are aware of Leo’s presence as the man who leads LA’s most powerful company.

Leo is a highly respected CEO with a pretty-looking daughter on his side. Unfortunately, his unmarried status in the first episode disturbs his only daughter so much. That way, his daughter wishes to seek him as a wife candidate.

At first, he almost makes fun of his daughter’s remarriage requests. All he thinks about is his future collaboration with the Patton Corporation. However, the more people he interacts with, the more Leo sees the universe paves a path for Anne, his love interest.

He uses a plumber disguise in his initial meetup with Anne. A few more episodes will reveal his identity. We expect his identity reveals won’t only shame the villains. Leo and his loyal assistants will also team up to get rid of the villains for good!

Selene Brown

True Love Waits movie also acknowledges a materialistic, greedy, and ungrateful villain. Her name is Selene Brown. Selene comes from a quite wealthy family she can feed her husband. Her debut appearance in the movie shows she expects her baby soon.

Marrying William Johnson, Anne’s son, means Selene is Anne’s daughter-in-law. However, Anne’s modest appearance has caused Selene to throw away her mother-in-law. She even uses her parents to get rid of Anne.

Similarly, she has threatened to divorce William several times. She is also an emotionally immature individual. After all, she resorts to throwing a tantrum whenever she doesn’t get what she wants.

William Johnson

True Love Waits movie recognizes William as Anne’s son and her only remaining child. A few years have passed since he missed his sister and he seems to forget the detailed flashbacks. His compassionate nature has also resulted him in mortgaging the apartment he used to live with his mom.

At first, William does everything to keep his marriage with Selene. He even stands by his malicious wife, even though Selene repeatedly assaults him. He can’t even fight Selene when Selene ridicules his mother.

At the same time, Selene’s consistent antics make us wonder if William would ever divorce her for good. William’s divorce could go hand-in-hand with Leo’s identity revelation scenes!

Rebecca Windsor

True Love Waits movie’s first scenes depict the 28-year-old Rebecca Windsor’s moment with her father. This young lady talks about her father’s remarriage in the Windsor Group’s CEO room.

Leo is her father, and the thoughts of her motherless condition have plagued Rebecca. So, Rebecca forces her father to choose the candidates from the photos she has collected. Suddenly, she faints when she is on her way to contact more candidates.

Anne Lopez is the senior-aged woman who rescues her. Anne’s kindness eventually wins Rebecca’s heart.

We can say that Rebecca is one of the most consistently kind-hearted individuals in True Love Waits movie. She could harbor more special relationships with Anne. Then, again, we believe her identity reveal portions should be the ending’s part!

Part 2: Delving Into True Love Waits Story

Theme & Plot

True Love Waits is a movie with senior-aged main characters. The main female character is Anne Lopez, a seller on her sandwich truck. Anne used to live with William Johnson, her only son, in an apartment. They have lived this modest way since Anne’s divorce from Sebastian, her materialistic ex-husband. However, the apartment has been mortgaged due to William’s wife’s request.

Meanwhile, the main male character is CEO Leonardo “Leo” Windsor of the Windsor Group. Leo disguises himself as a plumber to keep his CEO identity secret from the public.

That way, the public can only know the Windsor Group’s CEO as Mr. Windsor. They never know the real name until Leo’s identity is revealed in, hopefully, some later episodes. All they know about is that this plumber tries to play Mr. Windsor’s role.

It also applies to the Brown family. Jack Brown should rise as the Patton Corporation’s VP. Selene Brown, Jack’s only daughter and William Johnson’s wife, is also expecting a baby. However, all of them bully and humiliate Leo and Anne whenever these two main characters step in. It causes us to wonder, when will Leo ever reveal himself?

Ending Revealed

True Love Waits movie’s ending is expected to be a HEA. In other words, we are dying to see Anne’s good karma result in her effortless move to Leo’s apartment. Rebecca Windsor a.k.a. Leo’s daughter will likely join the maids and butlers to greet Anne.

After all, Anne has saved Rebecca at the beginning of the episodes. So, we think, the happy ending could feature Rebecca’s happiness.

As for William, well, we can expect him to move in with his mother. Is it possible for William and Rebecca’s romances? For sure! After all, Rebecca is more youthful and compassionate than the high-handed Selene.

Someone as selfish and superficial as Selene deserves a painful fate in prison. As a part of the ending, we expect her not only to get imprisoned. She and her conceited father should also be banned from the city forever!

Part 3: What’s Next for True Love Waits Part 2?

True Love Waits Movie Part 2 could still feature the same Anne and Leo as William and Rebecca’s protective parents. We can also expect more in-depth stories of William and Rebecca’s romantic lives in the movie’s second part.

More involvements of rare jewelry items are also things that we expect. We also wish to know the villains’ lives after Leo bans them from LA for good. Will they live in the wilderness? Or, will they organize mafia groups in other continents?

We can only answer the questions after the movie director teams release the second part! Unfortunately, there haven’t been any updates of the Part 2’s release date.
