Emma is forced to pretend to be Derek's fiancé in order to hide his affair, while August is not ready to let his encounter with Emma be a single night affair.

Infatuated With The CEO Episode 1 introduces us to Emma Caldwell who looks hurt and drunk as she goes to August Hughes and asks to help her by taking her home with him. The couple end up having a one-night stand. August asks Emma if someone spiked her drink as he mentions the night being his first. However, Emma is cold as she states to August that it's not his concern to worry about and that she will see him around. Emma is recorded by someone as she leaves August's car.
