Kicked Out Then I Inherited Billions! Episode 1 starts with Mu Wanwan the foster daughter getting kicked out by her foster mother after finding her biological daughter Mu Lanlan. The foster mother demands Mu Wanwan to leave without considering her pleas. Even her boyfriend Zhou breaks up with her since she no longer belongs to the Mu family.

There Wanwan meets Ye Mohan and the first time she walks in on him is when he's naked, starting their meeting with an awkward encounter. The Mu family tries to make up for Lanlan's rude treatment.

Ye Mohan meets with his mother Zhou Shan who informs that Xia family's daughter Xia Yusen is found. Zhou wishes to get Xia Yusen to marry Ye Mohan, which can solidify both families' reputation.
