We see Hannah breaking up with her boyfriend Dean on the night of their prom after being lied to by Elise, the jealous girl who fakes to have slept with Dean. Four years later Hannah moves in with her father only to find Dean, her ex-boyfriend who is now her stepbrother. Like their past isn't conflicted enough, she still has to face Elise's hatred towards her.

They are excited to share their first time, as they had promised to one another to lose their virginity to each other before Dean goes off to the military. Elise humiliates Hannah and lies to her about Dean having slept with her over last summer, despite Hannah refusing to believe her.

Dean chases after Hannah, demanding she doesn't leave him like in the past.

Hearing Hannah's cry for help, Dean rushes to help her as he saves her from the bullies and wipes the letter on her deciding to teach Hannah's hater Elise a lesson.

He points out that he will never sleep with someone like Elise who tries to coax her lies by calling herself pretty and degrades Hannah for her looks. But Dean calls Elise an ugly soul who men don't want to sleep with and leaves with Hannah. Elise gets trapped by her friends as they term her an adulterer.
